What you would work on
- Ductwork changes and new runs for remodels and additions
- Ductless mini split installs for garage conversions and ADUs
- Equipment sizing and replacement in whole home renovations
- New system installs in custom homes
- Bathroom exhaust and kitchen ventilation
The trade in the Austin area
Central Texas has a long, hot cooling season, and attics routinely run far hotter than the outside air in summer. Garage conversions and ADUs usually need their own system because the existing one cannot carry the extra space, and additions often mean resizing equipment and ductwork for the whole house.
What we look for
- A Texas air conditioning and refrigeration license or technician registration with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation
- EPA Section 608 certification for refrigerant handling
- Experience with residential systems in the Texas heat
How our jobs run
Every project has a project manager who schedules the trades, handles permits and inspections and keeps the homeowner informed, so you can focus on the work. Many of our jobs are in occupied homes, so a clean, protected work area at the end of each day matters as much as the work itself.
Licensing
Air conditioning and refrigeration work in Texas falls under the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, and handling refrigerant requires EPA Section 608 certification.
