What you would work on

- Trim, doors, built-ins and finish carpentry
The trade in the Austin area
Central Austin's older homes are often pier and beam with floors that need leveling and framing repairs before anything new goes in. Opening up mid century floor plans means engineered beams, and decks in Lakeway, Bee Cave and West Lake Hills are often built on steep lots with footings drilled into rock.
What we look for
- Framing or finish carpentry experience on residential projects
- Ability to read plans and work to engineered framing details
- Your own hand and power tools
How our jobs run
Every project has a project manager who schedules the trades, handles permits and inspections and keeps the homeowner informed, so you can focus on the work. Many of our jobs are in occupied homes, so a clean, protected work area at the end of each day matters as much as the work itself.
Licensing
Texas does not require a state license for carpentry. Framing is inspected by the city on permitted projects.
Where you would work
Jobs are across the greater Austin metro, from central Austin to Round Rock, Georgetown, Lakeway, Dripping Springs, Kyle, San Marcos and Bastrop. Our office is at 5758 Balcones Dr, Suite 201A, Austin, TX 78731.
