What you would work on
- Foundations and slabs for additions, garages, ADUs and new homes
- Patio slabs, driveways and walkways
- Pool decks and coping work
- Forming, rebar and post tension slab work on engineered foundations
The trade in the Austin area
The ground changes across the metro: expansive clay east of I-35 that swells and shrinks, and shallow limestone to the west that has to be cut. Engineered slabs, including post tension slabs, are common on new construction, and summer pours are planned for the cool early morning hours.
What we look for
- Experience with residential foundations and flatwork
- Knowledge of building on expansive clay and limestone
- Ability to read engineered foundation plans
How our jobs run
Every project has a project manager who schedules the trades, handles permits and inspections and keeps the homeowner informed, so you can focus on the work. Many of our jobs are in occupied homes, so a clean, protected work area at the end of each day matters as much as the work itself.
Licensing
Texas does not require a state license for concrete work. Foundations are built to the engineer's design and inspected by the city.

Jobs are across the greater Austin metro, from central Austin to Round Rock, Georgetown, Lakeway, Dripping Springs, Kyle, San Marcos and Bastrop. Our office is at 5758 Balcones Dr, Suite 201A, Austin, TX 78731.
